This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help us light up our learning with a classroom light table and accompanying materials!

An illuminated table allows children to see things in a new light, quite literally!

Incorporating a light table into our early childhood classroom will significantly enrich our educational environment. It aligns with our commitment to providing hands-on, exploratory learning opportunities that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental needs. By integrating the light table into our daily activities, we aim to:

- Engage students in meaningful learning experiences that stimulate their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

- Foster a supportive and interactive classroom environment where children can collaborate and learn from one another.

- Enhance our ability to assess and support individual learning progress through targeted activities and observations.

Your generous donation will allow us to purchase a durable, high-quality light table, as well as a range of translucent resources for our students to explore. Light tables encourage students to investigate and learn with their five senses! In addition to exploring the materials listed in this project, a light table would permit students to investigate the scientific properties of different natural materials such as leaves, twigs, flowers, pinecones, sand, and snow.

Your generous support would greatly contribute to creating a dynamic and enriching learning environment for our preschool students, helping to nurture our students' growth and development in meaningful ways!
