Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The overly bright fluorescent lights that are currently in my classroom have been known to give students and staff headaches, even with light filters that I purchased. Help me achieve a calming learning environment with alternative / flexible lighting options for students.

Help me create a calming environment, so students can focus on learning.

The flexible lighting requested in this project will help to create a calming environment for students. There are also many social-emotional benefits to the alternative lighting as well as reducing eye-strain and hyperactivity.

Students love the flexible seating in our classroom and the alternative lighting will allow students to have a calming learning environment where they can focus on Spanish and their language development.

Additionally, the stop light will help as a visual clue to noise level and student behavior expectations. We are really excited for the potential of the adding flexible and alternative lighting to our classroom.
