Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Light Up Learning will provide my students with many engaging experiences to motivate them to learn and explore in fun ways!

The "Neon Read-On" is a highlight for students as they learn about text structure.

Students will use the black light flashlights with highlighters to comprehend 5 different types of informational text! The astro bright paper is used for copies, so they can record their responses on eye-catching paper. My project will also give students a chance to explore Math through the use of board games! What better way to change those negative feelings about Math into a positive!

Nothing is better for students than allowing them the chance to create projects, have team challenges, and be hands-on through the use of manipulatives! The place value discs, buzzers, plastic balls, and paper plates will be used in this way! My hope is to give students memories that will last a lifetime!
