This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am teaching Transitional Kindergarten this year. I am so excited to help these students learn and grow! Students this age learn so much during hands-on exploration.

Having a light table in our classroom would be a wonderful way for students to explore many academic areas.

They can explore with Magna-Tiles to learn shapes and spatial learning. We can use our translucent digit blocks to learn one-to-one correspondence and counting. Translucent letters can be used to write their names and learn letters and sounds. The possibilities of how to use this light table to facilitate learning are endless!
