This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This light table will be incorporated into our block area for work time. It will provide a place for students to learn and explore sensory materials. The manipulatives will be used to count, sort, or put into patterns.

Sensory learning will help my students by developing motor skills, support language development, and encourage scientific thinking and problem solving.

My goal is to get my students excited and engaged with numbers, letters, and shapes using hands on learning.
