Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of the students on my caseload have cortical visual impairment, ocular impairment and multiple disabilities.

Using brightly colored, shiny toys against a black background allows students to utilize their vision in a more functional way.

In addition, using brightly colored toys will help my students activate their vision. These toys will reward the students lights, allowing my students to have fun!

These new materials will be used each and every day with many of my students. The teachers, paras and students will all benefit from having these new light up toys!
