My Students

Building a strong foundation within our students ensures the development of productive citizens. My students are facing one of the most devastating times due to Covid-19 and are economically struggling. Children at the age of 4 should have the opportunity to have a rich education and enjoy their childhood.

My students have shown resilience, flexibility, and a positive outlook.

However, my students are lacking many classroom materials that they need to further develop their cognitive development.

My Project

The materials that I am requesting for my student have multiple learning benefits. Pre-k students learn through play and hands-on exploration.

When students are engaged in light play activities they are exposed to science literacy, math, music, and writing, concepts.

By creating an inviting learning space, students are encouraged to engage in learning activities through play without even realizing it.

Aside from the vast array of educational and entertaining activities that can be done on a light table, light tables are an excellent source of visual sensory input. Children are naturally drawn to the glow of the table and are often calmed by the visual stimulation as they explore the center.
