This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me get light covers for my classroom, along with a few other things.

The starry light covers will be fun and efficient in class!

The kids are going to love them. The bright flourescent light makes it tough on our eyes when learning and I have a few kids this year with sensitivity issues. I do have some cozy lighting options already, but there are times we need to make sure the big lights are on. With these covers, it will allow us to have more lighting without being so harsh on little eyes who are already overstimulated in the classroom.

My interventionist is in need of pencils and a handheld pencil sharpener by her table, so when she is working with students she doesn't have to get up and go to my desk. This will ensure we don't miss out on any teaching time.

Lastly, my laminator has been broken for awhile and I have been using it the best I can. I have to sit and watch it to make sure papers don't get ruined in the process. Getting a new laminator will help me out tremendously when I am making items for our class.
