My Project

Light It Up "Blue" for YOU! is how we celebrate and support students with autism. April kicks off National Autism Awareness month and the color theme for autism is" light it up blue". In order to bring awareness we shed "light" on this condition that affects many families we host several activities for our students; as we share valuable information about autism and working with students who is a little bit different. Such as; "how sounds and noises affects some of them, how routines helps, all sounds are not intend to be rude, and or building relationship with autistic children".

I would like to provide my students with a table filled with "blue" package items that consist of fidget toys, snacks, other sensory items, and tips on working with kids who has autism as well as other disabilities.

Students will be able to count out "blue" items consistent with their age and fill their treat bags. Thank you in advance for all of your support.
