My Students

I serve in a school with low-income families. The children I serve don't always have the opportunity to visit go to different places to learn. Most of them only stay in the community they are from. This year I have several students with special needs. I want to provide my students with every learning experience that I can provide.

My students have a huge heart for learning.

I strive to give them all kinds of new opportunities that will be in their memory forever. I want to give the students I serve every opportunity I can to engage and excite them in a life of learning. I want to make it fun and memorable.

My Project

This light exploration table will give students access to explore to use of light and how light shines on different materials can change them.

Having a light table and accessories in the classroom will allow the children to learn about the use of lights.

The accessories come with counters, x-ray cards, and more. Our children will be able to see how an x-ray looks. We will be able to teach children what our bones look like under our skin. This is also a great sensory activity for the children as they explore, they will be using their different senses.
