My Students

My students are active learners and they thrive on any activity that involves movement. They are intrigued by the chance to be busy. They love to investigate, research, and ask questions. They are resourceful and keep me on my toes. With only two out-dated computers in our classroom, my students continue to persevere despite limited resources.

My students are creative, curious, and talented.

My students are amazing. They are from a neighborhood that is diverse. There are many students where English is a second language yet they thrive and excel in learning.

My Project

The Kindle provides access to so many educational apps and games that will ignite an authentic enthusiasm for learning through technology. Using the Kindle Fire tablet during class, will allow students to research, deepen understanding through games, publish and produce writing, and collaborate to solve problems.

School may be the only place some of my students have the opportunity to engage in activities that involve the most up-to-date technology.

Receiving these 4 Kindle Fire tablets will allow my students to access the world around them while playing educational games and activities, reading books, and researching areas that interest them. Your donation will help set my students' learning on FIRE!
