it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I have the privilege of working with some of the most hardworking students I have ever met. They might come from low income, high poverty areas, but their thirst for knowledge is inspiring. Our school is Title I where the majority of students get free or reduced-price lunch. Even though every student understands where they come from, when they come to my class, they are like every other child in the world. They love music, sports, tv, movies, and video games. They are smart, funny, creative, happy, motivated young people.
My Project
I am in the process of transforming my classroom and lessons into an interactive hybrid learning environment. The whole class is designed to educate students to be a better version of themselves. With that being said, these low weight free weights are essential for this process.
Using low weights when teaching students how to exercise is important.
It allows the students to experience different types of exercises with success. When each student feels more comfortable, they can continue onto more challenging workouts.
On top of exercising safely, exercise makes people feel better. When students feel better about themselves they participate more in school. Which is the whole point of my classroom, to build self-esteem, self-image, motivation, and pride.
