Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Young learners are naturally curious and come to school ready to explore and ask questions. We teach curriculum however sometimes my learners have questions about what they are learning or want to take their learning to the next level.
I also teach English Language Learners.
Second grade is a very important grade on their learning path. Having a printer in my classroom will provide the opportunity for them to have visual supports in their first language and in English. One of our ELA Units is about dinosaurs and paleontology. It would be so cool for all of my young learners to have pictures, names, and facts about dinosaurs right at their seats in living color!!
A classroom printer will help us have a successful school year. Life long learners will be activated!!
