Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with high school students with severe disabilities. This project will give students access to work skills and social skills by allowing them to make materials for their classmates. The students will be able to make t-shirts to sell to the other students, which will allow them to proactive their money skills by making change, their coordination skills, by using the printer and press, and their social skills by interacting with their peers. The students will also be able to practice their employability skills by working on and designing the materials.
