My Project

The students in my school are an amazing group of children. They have smiles on their faces that bring joy to everyone that works with them. My students have a range of disabilities ranging from hyperactivity, and physical and emotional disabilities to autism. Each of our students learns and benefits from different types of instruction including life and vocational skills.

Cooking through life skills gives our students the ability to learn about math, literacy, and science while making a delicious treat!

These skills will allow them to advance in their academics. It will also allow them to learn how to cook for themselves - a skill they need in their life to become more independent. The resources requested are some big items like an air fryer to teach students how to make a simple dinner for themselves. All the baking supplies the students could need in order to help them make treats for a fundraising bake sale! I also have included a lot of measuring devices to help teach them math and science.
