My Students

My students are motivated, driven, and eager. They enjoy the challenge of problem-solving and engaging in hands-on activities in the onsite campus automotive shop.

The students are career-oriented and view my class as an opportunity to develop and build a life skill.

My Project

The requested supplies and materials, such as a jump starter kit, gloves, and digital multimeter, will help to provide my students the opportunity to train as well as learn while performing critical and vital hands-on tasks in the actual automotive shop environment.

The requested items will also allow the students to perform those shop assignments in not only a safe but also a practical manner.

Having the supplies available to them will reemphasize the importance of shop safety. The students will also be able to demonstrate shop and personal safety procedures learned by having the proper PPE available to them.

Ms. Brothers McKinley High School Grades 9-12

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
