This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I recently started playing Pickleball and fell in love with the sport. It’s fun, social, and a great workout. I always have such a fun time that I forget I'm working out.

I want to give my students the opportunity to learn a fun sport they normally wouldn’t get to experience.

However, in order to do that I need a class set of Pickleball equipment to teach them the skills necessary for them to be able to play and enjoy the game.

Unfortunately, funds are not always available to purchase the necessary equipment.
