This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are 4 and 5 year olds, who are very curious about their world around them. They are beginning to build a foundation of what school is. They love learning and are very inquisitive. They want to know about everything. Most have never attended school before.

Help me give my students these materials so they will experience and observe the life cycle of butterflies and ladybugs.

With these materials we will be able to observe the transformation of larva to insect. The projector will allow to learn academic vocabulary and see videos about insects. We will use the other crafts to create their very own life cycle. In addition, the cart will allow us to move the lady bugs and butterflies so everyone can see and get the hands on experience they will never forget.
