Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a delightful bunch. They come every day, ready to learn with a smile. I teach English learners in a high-poverty school where all of the students receive free breakfast and lunch.

My students are eager learners who know that hard work and perseverance will help them attain their goals for success.

As a teacher, I do my best to provide differentiated instruction to meet my students' everyday needs. I believe every student should get every opportunity to learn.

My Project

Pencils, pencil sharpeners, whiteboard markers,crayons and scissors will be included in a pencil pouch to complete homework. We will also provide them with facial tissue to use when needed, lip balm for chapped lips and mouthwash when they need to freshen their breath. These hygiene products and school supplies will be used to make bags for their backpacks

In these bags they will find the essentials they need to complete their homework and also health products to keep them happy and healthy.

If this project is fully funded my students will receive these basic needs to succeed in attaining their goals.
