Life Essentials for Students in Need

My students need daily life essentials. Some of these things include deodorant, toothbrushes, lip balm, and also feminine hygiene products.

My Students

"Never give up; great things take time."- Anonymous. This is soemthing we focus on in our classrrom. We want all of our students to be successful in everything that they do and the best way for us to give them this opportunity is by making sure that they have the daily life essentials that they need to start each and every day out amazing!

Our school is a 5th and 6th grade school that is very high poverty.

We have over 300 students in the building, who are all on free lunch. Many times, we will have students that ask our school counselor for basic necessities like toothbrushes, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products. We would love to have a supply of these items right on hand for when a student in need asks a teacher or the counselor for them. We send them home to not only benefit the student but also the families. Having these items when the students need them would not only fulfill a need of theirs but also help to increase the students feelings of self worth.

My Project

Students receiving these basic necessities will be students who do not have these tools at home. Many students come to school asking for toothbrushes, lip balm, deodorant, and much more because their parents do not currently have it at home. Your support is not only benefiting our students but our community as well. These supplies will be districuted as needed to the students and their families. If a student in our building or a family in our building is going through a tough time, it is nice to have the life esentials that are needed to support them and show them that people care about them.

Receiving funding for this project with will have a great impact on many of the students in our building who do not have these daily life essentials available to them at home.

Some of our students face challenges and have struggles that greatly affect them, and not having the items they need to fulfill their basic human needs should not be one of them. Thank you for helping to make a large difference in teh lives of our students.
