My Students

Help us learn about the world around us with life cycle materials for science!

My classroom is filled with energetic and fun-loving kindergarteners!

They meet each new challenge with excitement, determination, and tenacity. We are located in a high-poverty area of Florida, with over 90% of students receiving free or reduced price lunch.

My Project

While my classroom is filled with eager little learners, they do not have access to many materials that will meet their needs. Most materials required to assist students in science exploration are either nonexistent or heavily used. In particular, we do not have fun materials for students to use during our life cycles study. My students need books, manipulatives, greenhouses, and life cycle kits. By giving students access to these materials, their science investigation skills will soar!

Kindergarten is such a magical grade!

These little ones' minds, bodies, and hearts are growing in leaps and bounds! While a good year would result in all of my students mastering the science standards, a GREAT year would be if they developed a passion for science!
