Life Cycles and Clicks

Help me give my students a visual understanding of the life cycle of chicks. I am hoping to use these visual, hands-on resources as a teaching aid to hatching actual chickens. We are also requesting computer mice.

My Project

These hands-on chicken life cycle tools will help students visually see how a chicken becomes a chicken. These tools give students an opportunity to understand how food ends up on our table. I plan to use these life cycle eggs to coincide with hatching actual eggs. I want my students to understand where food comes from. I am a huge participant in incorporating agriculture in the classroom. I am constantly striving to bring new ideas and tools to my classroom to enhance learning and make learning just as fun as it is enriching! This tool is also impacting students at a Title I school.

The computer mice set will support student learning in the online learning portion of the day.

My students have an allotted time on the computers to help with math skills. This time allows me to pull my students into a smaller group setting to help fill in holes and understand different math concepts that are hard. The mice will help my students learn the skills of computer technology. These skills impact not only their math skills from the online platform used, but also with state testing.
