My Project

At Farrington High School, our motto, "Enter to Learn, Go Forth to Serve," is more than just words—it’s a commitment to preparing our students for success beyond the classroom. As an alumnus of Farrington, I returned to teach, coach, and be a voice for my students. Working in special education, I see firsthand that my students are capable of achieving great things, even when others underestimate them. That’s why I believe in everything I do and teach—because they deserve every opportunity to thrive.

Our project focuses on entrepreneurship, using hands-on learning to build confidence and real-world skills.

With the sublimation license plates, my students will design, create, and sell customized plates for graduation season, gaining experience in technology, craftsmanship, and business. Once they master this, we’ll expand to graduation stoles, ensuring they continue to learn, grow, and challenge themselves.

My students are special because they refuse to let their circumstances define them. They are creative, hardworking, and full of potential. This project will give them a sense of purpose and pride, showing them that their skills and ideas have value. With the right tools and opportunities, they can go forth to serve their community and build a brighter future for themselves.
