This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our increasingly multicultural society, bilingual education is vital. My class is composed of students who are learning both English and Spanish, and access to high-quality dual language books is essential for their growth. Currently, our classroom library lacks a variety of engaging texts that cater to both languages, limiting our students’ ability to explore and develop their language skills.

Our goal is to enhance the educational experience of our students by providing them with a diverse selection of dual language books.

This initiative not only supports literacy development but also fosters cultural appreciation and bilingualism, key skills in today's interconnected world.

Investing in dual language books is an investment in our students’ futures. By providing them with the resources they need to thrive linguistically and culturally, you are helping to shape a generation of bilingual, culturally competent leaders.
