Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am starting this project in the hopes of being able to update the current library in the self-contained classroom. Thus far, I have been able to get one library project funded which has allowed us to add brand new books to the library while also assorting books into proper lexile ranges as opposed to being thrown on a shelf - the way they used to be. Now, we are realizing that certain genres and tropes are missing and I would like to remedy that. This project will help include more books with BIPOC character casts as well as a range of storylines across different genres. Your help will be much appreciated!
