My Project

Ms. Stella Makarenko and I, Marianna Papandrea, are excited for being given the opportunity to teach library class, for the first time, to the Pre-K students in our school this year. We create engaging materials for our lessons, personalized adaptive books, and activities to help students interact with the books that we present to them. The school printer is used by many and either runs out of ink or breaks down. So, we can definitely benefit from getting our own printer. The printer will provide materials that maintain student interest and focus, maximizing learning opportunities for all children.

While working with a wide range of Pre-K aged students, it is beneficial to have different materials that help students use with reading materials.

For example, stick puppets, letter matching, sequencing events from the story, and puzzles that we create ourselves. With bold and bright printed learning materials, we find the children are more engaged with the learning activity. We would be appreciative for this gift.
