Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are in the process of revamping our Library Media Center in order to best serve our community of student readers in Homestead, Florida.

Our school's Library Media Center has a giveaway every month that rewards those students who have been checking books out to read.

When a student checks a book out from the LMC, they receive a giveaway ticket. One ticket is randomly chosen at the end of each month for the winner of the current month's prize. We know the value of reading for pleasure and how it impacts student achievement.

These materials will be used for the Library Media Center's giveaway prize bundles. The student will receive a tote bag filled with the goodies from this wish list.

Please help us reward those students that come to the Library Media Center and check books out!
