Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students love to visit the school library! It is important that the library has signage (letters and display stands) to help the students easily locate reading materials and supplies. The library is also in need of supplies to help teachers and students use the space in various ways. Having rolling desks and wheels on tables will help when teachers are presenting in the library, and will allow the library to easily accommodate different group arrangements. Having Microphones will help teachers and presenters to accommodate a large group of students. Makerspace supplies (button making supplies and sublimation supplies) will help students learn how to make their own creations. New Books and Scholastic magazines are a wonderful addition to the library. They provide current reading materials for our students.

With these additions, the library will become an even more dynamic and engaging space for both students and teachers to explore, create, and learn together.
