My Students

My students are only three and four years old. They are curious, playful, loving and adorable. For most of them, it is their first time in a classroom, let alone a huge school of over 1,000 other students.

They always have a ton of questions and actually listen to the answers.

They are eager to learn new things. They love hands-on projects where they are able to show off their creativity. It's great to watch them grow throughout the year.

My Project

Board books will be very beneficial to my Pre-K students. For some of them it is their first time in a classroom setting and for some of them English is a second language. The books will help to create a library center where my students can explore how to handle books as well as the print concepts. The titles I have chosen are print rich with lots of bright illustrations that will encourage the students to want to read.

The new books will be inviting to the students which will make them want to read independently or even share with friend.

A library of new books will help to increase their interest in reading.
