Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have worked the last decade with a very creative, and dedicated Librarian. Our schools library is grossly outdated and does not reflect or represent our students and their interests.

Our Librarian, Mrs. Rea surveyed our students to see what books they wanted: and all of the books listed here are what they want!

All of these books will be out into our school library for all students to have access too. Readers are Leaders and getting them books that have been written within the last 25 years is equity work in action! Our students need and want books that represent them, their interests and our modern world!
