My Project

The school library operates a game center during lunch periods. The game center has origami, Lego pieces, board games, playing cards, and puzzles. Students love to visit the library to relax, read, study, do projects, de-stress, work on arts and crafts, and utilize the game center. They are, for the most part, well behaved, respectful, funny, eager to make friends, and helpful.

Students love working on jigsaw puzzles.

However, they don't have much time to work on them daily. They have requested to save their work-in-progress puzzles and complete them over time. To do that, we need to purchase puzzle mats for storing the incomplete puzzles. We would also like to add USA and World Map puzzles to the game center to strengthen student knowledge of geography.

Puzzles has been shown to improve memory skills, strengthen hand-eye coordination, enhance problem solving skills, reduce stress, and improve concentration and focus. Hence, we are eager to expand our library puzzle collection.
