This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing in every way possible.

Hardworking, persistent, creative, and intelligent-they all are capable of attaining their goals and ambitions. My students attend a very small school in a very small town, so it sometimes hard to get materials that they need because of limited funds.

I have no doubt that my students will go on to do amazing things, and it is because of their potential that I want the best for them. Please help me prepare my students for tomorrow by preparing them today!

My Project

We currently have a very small library. This is the first year that we have an operating library after a 3 year period of no access. Many of the books that we have are old and an unappealing to students. For some students our school library is their only access to reading materials. It is important for our students to have access to materials that they can relate to.

With new and current books our students will have access to materials that they otherwise wouldn't have.

Having books available to students will help increase our students literacy and provide access to new materials.
