My Students

An amazing resource classroom full of various abilities, levels, and goals. My students come from diverse backgrounds and each has individual goals to help them become successful, which is why we are in need of a few different options. By having different options, I can almost guarantee that my students will thrive in the environment I am trying so hard to create.

My students love when "Oh, DEAR" is called.

They know it is time to drop everything and read. They each grab a good book, look at the pictures, read the words, share their take of the story with a friend, and learn from the experience.

My Project

My classroom is amazing! However, my students find themselves having to sit on the floor with a good book or in our standard hard plastic chair, making them wiggle in an attempt to become comfortable.

Many of my students enjoy sitting on a comfy chair within the GenEd classroom or School Library.

I would love to give them the same opportunities in our Resource room. All of the seating materials in our Project List are able to move around the room, giving my students the flexibility they need to be happy, safe, and successful.

I am new to this physical space allowing me to create my ideal classroom from scratch. I have many visions for my students but I need help to complete this vision.
