My Project

Thank you so much for supporting our classroom with the contact paper, vinyl, and wallpaper we need to create a separate area for our students. These simple resources will make a world of difference in their learning by giving them a dedicated, calm space where they can focus without distractions. Many of my students, especially those with autism, benefit from having a clear physical boundary that helps them feel secure and organized. The contact paper will allow us to create a visual separation within the classroom that fosters a sense of personal space and reduces overstimulation.

My goal for this project is to enhance the learning environment by offering a space where students can go when they need a break, a quiet moment, or just a place to recharge before rejoining the group.

This will also help them build self-regulation skills and learn how to take ownership of their emotional and social needs. What makes my students special is their incredible resilience and unique ways of engaging with the world. They approach learning in their own individual ways, often with creativity, perseverance, and a deep sense of curiosity. By providing them with a space tailored to their needs, we can help them thrive and continue to explore their potential in a supportive environment.
