My Project

I'm a special education teacher of a small program containing students of kindergarten, first grade, and second grade. I also have students with a variety of interest and needs. In addition, my classroom does have students that experience some big feelings and behaviors. Some of our older books that have seen some things should be retired. I'd like to be able to update some of the books in my library to meet their needs and interests. Our students develop a love for reading by being able to pick from things that interest them. Also as tough topics come up in the class it is nice to have books on hand to read to reference to work through those subjects.
