My Project

First year librarian in a new space that needs LOVE. I have spent all of August and September cleaning and clearing and preparing our collection for students to be able to have books in their hands. Now that my first check outs are finished I want to transform the space for each season so the students feel welcome and invited to the space. Changing the setup and decorations helps students to see this space as somewhere they want to be. I am so excited to transform this library with seasonal décor! I have also included some much need Spanish-English dictionaries. We have an grown Hispanic population and I regularly get asked for them and do not yet own any. Thank you so much for any help you can give.
