Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Currently, our classroom library does not have an area where students can sit down and comfortably enjoy reading their books. This rug will be used to have small group instruction as well as allow the students to book browse, and independently read, they may also use the rug to work in partnerships and discuss the stories they are reading.

My class really enjoys spending time in the library, having a library rug I know will make them feel even more excited to be in the library.

Most importantly eager to read.
