Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This coming year I will be teaching 4th grade. The learning styles differ from one student to the other. But one thing is clear they all want to succeed and learn as much as they can.

My goal is to do everything possible so my students can be academically successful, especially after the year they all had.

My Project

This September my students will be back in the classroom from being fully remote most of last school year. During this past year many of them relied on online resources to read books. This coming school year I would like to surprise them with new books they can physically grab and touch.

The books I have chosen were selected for not only it's genre which they need to be exposed to, but also because some of these books have culturally relevant characters that my students can relate to.

I want the students to get excited about reading this year, therefore I need your help to get my library started!
