My Project

My class is made up of many different levels of learners. There are many whose first language is something other than English and some of them are new to the country and speak no English. I also have a population of special education students who remain in the general education classroom through our inclusion program. Finally, I have some general education students who missed out on learning foundational skills due to the Covid closures.

Each of these groups of students brings something special to the classroom and it is my mission to get them on the road to mastering reading and writing.

The books in this project will allow me to present reading skills in a way that is engaging and fun. My students can learn about language without feeling like they're less than.
