Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reading is a fundamental skill that lays the foundation for academic growth. In a kindergarten classroom students are entering at different levels of literacy development. In order to foster students individual academic levels I would like to provide students with a leveled library.

Leveled readers are instructional tools that can target individual student skills and needs.

Leveled reading books will allow me to differentiate my instruction, ensuring that each child receives texts appropriate to their skill level. By providing texts that meet their needs students will feel more confident and gain a love for reading!
