My Students

My students come to school each day, excited to learn. Most of my students come from a struggling economic background with extremely limited resources. Their academic sources are limited at home. It would be best if they can at least have a classroom with enriching resources and a teacher equipped with the needed tools.

I strive to give my students some hands-on resources, books, and visual aids to equip them with the best of learning tools.

My students come with various backgrounds and academic needs.

Students with limited English would highly benefit from the visual and auditory stimulation to grasp the English language, while native speakers would continue to enhance their academic skills through hands-on reading.

My Project

A well organized and leveled library using the book bins that I have requested will help foster and support the love of books that children have been missing during the pandemic. Literacy and a well-stocked library is essential in setting the foundations of reading. Children will foster a love for reading only when they are able to get lost in books.

Please help my students gain access to the wonderful resource of books in a leveled library that is sorted into the book bins that I have requested.

These youngsters deserve to have access to books that are a perfect match to their reading levels as well as their interests.

I am striving to bring back the love of reading in my classroom with a well-stocked, neatly organized library. Research has shown that children will learn to love books when they are given ample opportunities to immerse themselves in books.

Having access to such a wonderful resource will become a path to grow their love for reading. The pandemic has disrupted learning on so many levels and this is a basic way of rebooting that engine!
