Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are curious, fun, and intelligent. They are consistently excited to be in school. I am an RSP teacher and help students with disabilities who are in the general education curriculum. They do a great job navigating the core curriculum but need a bit of assistance along the way.

My Project

These materials will make letters more accessible to my students. They will be able to manipulate letters and and be able to interact with them without having to write them down if they are not ready. Students who are ready will be able to employ the LED writing pads in a way that is both fun and instructional. Combining these tools will encourage my students to grow their letter recognition and writing skills. These tools will help provide the fundamental building blocks for reading and writing as my students continue to learn.
