My Project

I teach kindergarten in a small, rural school. This is my twenty-sixth year at my Elementary school. My students and community are special because they are like family. The effects of COVID-19 on young children especially, has seemed to delay fundamental social and academics skills. We are working hard to close the gaps while making learning fun.

The items I have requested will offer my students a flexible seating choice while having magnet letters to manipulate, in hopes to increase focus and engagement.

The magnet boards will be used to increase their practice in encoding with their new letter knowledge.
