My Project

We are looking forward to an exciting new start to this school year. Projects and activities that include cooperative learning will be a major focus at the start and throughout this school year. The students will use these flags to help them represent their group and their strengths. Giving the students the opportunity to identify and share their strengths with each other will help to build self-esteem. Students enjoy school when they feel a part of a community where others recognize each of their individual strengths and they can work together to accomplish different goals. Focusing on cooperative learning in this Social Emotional Learning style gives the students the ability to learn life lessons in an exciting team building environment.

These flags will be one aspect that helps to represent each of the different groups and remind them of their strengths as we move through the year.

We all know that children can learn so much from each other and I have seen how cooperative learning can positively affect my students’ work and demeanor. I know this is just one step towards an amazing, productive school year.
