Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My young scholars are learning more about themselves and who they are as individual learners. Teaching them and showing them that their mental health and social emotional needs are important is crucial. I want to use these materials and resources to continue to develop my own practices in the classroom. As well as offer an opportunity for my students to experience and learn about a variety of diverse SEL topics. I want them to be able to use what they learn from the resources and integrate them onto their everyday that will help them understand their emotions. In turn, adding new methods and strategies to their mental health tool belt that they can carry with them. These supplies is only the start of what I hope to continue growing, using, and incorporating into my classroom.
