Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our High School is located in South Central Los Angeles and the majority of our students will be the first in their family to attend college. Many of our students have faced a lot of obstacles throughout their educational journey and have persevered.

We would love for them to have a space that is conducive to learning and working on college and post secondary applications.

By having standing desks and a clean space we will be able to provide a space to support them with their college applications. In addition, having a reliable printer with ink will facilitate our support as they often need to print their educational plans for college and other post-secondary documents.

Having an open space that we can offer to our parents and students will allow for providing more support and expand our meeting space.
