My Project

I am a middle school ELA/Social Studies teacher at a neighborhood K-8 elementary school located in North Philadelphia. I work with 7th and 8th-grade students. The step stool, tape, and stapler will allow me to hang up anchor charts, student work, and other visual classroom friendly materials on the bare walls of my classroom. These motivational and stimulating visual aids (bulletin board borders and bulletin board letters) will enhance and encourage student learning in my classroom. Also, having a Latin America map will bring inclusiveness into my classroom since I also have students from different parts of Central and South America. My students are creative, kind, and funny and work best in a vibrant welcoming classroom.
