Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project would be grateful to me and my special education students, as it would give us a chance to organize ourselves (with file orgainizers, paper trays, storage pockets) and start fresh at the beginning of the school year. My idea is to have a class that gives them a blueprint of a well organized operation with plenty of storage for their work, materials and resources, so that they won’t lose them, or mistakenly leave them in other areas. It’s my hope that by maintaining this system, it would allow my students to feel comfortable, while learning a new skill that they can carry with them in the future.
