Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

First graders move very fast. They need a fast runner to catch up to them. My class is a very diverse group from different Latin countries learning English as a second language.

Students come from a lower social-economic neighborhood.

All my students receive free breakfast and lunch. They do not have the same opportunities that most kids have at school. My students want to be part of their community learning a new language to become productive in our society. The students' families are wonderful and caring, but are unable to provide their children with experiences they need.

My Project

I am requesting for a laptop to help speed the information that we share in the classroom. We do not have time to waste for our current laptop, which is to slow. Our classroom technology is a combination of new and old items that are not compatible with each other.

I believe with this one improvement we speed up the information that the children need.

I want my students to have the best experiences with new technology enhancing their learning.
