Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a vibrant group of scholars. They are a group of hard-working, talented, and energetic students that love to come to school. They are constantly asking questions, exploring, and making sense of the world around them, all while learning a second language.

My students love to sing, dance, laugh and express their learning.

Something that we pride ourselves on at our school is the joyful learning happening in all classrooms! What we may lack in resources we try our best to give our students other opportunities to learn and grow.

My Project

We are in great need of an easel to use for everyday instruction in the classroom. A whitebaord is important to display the concepts I am teaching the students. In addition, students are able to take notes and write in their own notebooks and papers what they see on the board. In nearly all of the lessons, I have students come up to the board and make the lesson interactive. Students really enjoy coming up to the board and showing their thinking and explaining their work. This new easel will be a lot bigger and more sturdy than what we currently have. We look forward to all of the learning and usage thanks to this item in our classroom.
